i find the final shot of the bloke sat down with his arm up awesome.. i cant explain why... its just got a really good impact on me. Could because he's so scary looking... i dunno. But the way its not just a photograph of the mans tatoo's- his personality comes accross.. it animates the photograph, you know?
It's funny that you say he looks scary because he was unbelievabely friendly! I chatted to him for quite a while about my project and his tattoos. Also on the last photograph, I realise I've cut his elbow off at the top which ruins it a little bit. I still really like it though!

the impact of the images is huge, but my reaction is negative, as his tattoes really freak me out!

I like the grittyness of these photos, very raw, connecting with the theme!
